Book Club Spring 2026

According to extensive scientific research, reading in childhood has been strongly correlated with healthy cognitive brain development, wellbeing and positive mental-health (The Literacy Trust, 2025; Yale University, 2025).

Why A Book Club?

📘 Book Clubs with a friend are a great way to integrate reading into children’s routines to support their healthy development and to enhance their language and communication skills.

📘 Online Clubs are suitable for a maximum of four children and ideal for 2-4 friends or siblings close in reading age, and since the club is online it’s also a perfect opporunity to connect with both near & distant friends.

📘 Children are stretched and scaffolded in a relaxed, encouraging environment with a highly experienced teacher.

📘 Confidence, spoken English, and comprehension skills are enhanced as we read together and discuss characters, plots and literary skills in depth, along with a few games!

“The girls absolutely love their

little book club”

Book Clubs are a great way for children to connect with a friend while developing their confidence, communication, comprehension and reading skills, and we’d love to see you at a club soon.

If your child is struggling with reading, phonics or dyslexia we can also offer expert 1:1 support.

Supporting children in reading for pleasure is considered to be extremely important for their healthy development (UCL, 2025; Stanford Children’s Health, 2025). Moreover, according to the World Economic Forum (2025), language and communication skills are likely to be highly important for our children’s future as we progress through this digital age.
